About Carolinas Center for Advanced Management of Pain
The Carolinas Center for Advanced Management of Pain is the premier pain management practice in North and South Carolina. With five offices, located in Greenville, Spartanburg, Columbia, and Anderson, South Carolina, and Asheville, North Carolina, patients throughout the region have access to comprehensive, convenient care.
Opened in 1996, the practice is considered a pioneer in the region when it comes to pain management services, and it’s currently the largest pain management practice in both states.
All the doctors at the Carolinas Center for Advanced Management of Pain are board certified, and the team includes specialists in pain management, physical medicine, and rehabilitation. These physicians diagnose and treat a wide range of injuries and conditions and coordinate care with other other specialists, including psychologists, spinal surgeons, physical therapists, and others, as needed.
As a full-service pain management practice, the Carolinas Center for Advanced Management of Pain is equipped to provide surgical evaluations, injection therapies, medication management, physical therapy, and psychological counseling, all under one roof. This saves time and money and allows for seamless integration of care.
The Carolinas Center for Advanced Management of Pain offers a complete course of treatment for all chronic pain problems and spinal diseases, including a wide range of in-office, X-ray-guided diagnostic and therapeutic injections. Other interventions include radiofrequency nerve ablation, intradiscal electrothermal therapy (IDET), and spinal cord stimulator implants, as well as surgical procedures to reduce pain.
The specialists also conduct independent medical evaluations, workers’ comp evaluations, neuropsychological exams for a head injury, cognitive disorders, and dementia, as well as psychological exams as required by certain benefits administrators and institutions.
